The Peacemakers of Belgravia

Tour dates and times:

Wednesday - 1 October 2025 - 14:30
Ticket price £17.50; £12.50

Richard’s walk in Belgravia takes you to historic residences and memorials of “peacemakers” over two hundred years. This is an epic story of men and women, some with great ideals, fighting to live in a stable, peaceful world, featuring generals, princes, politicians, exiles and revolutionaries. So, the walk brings you wild diplomatic balls; Chamberlain’s famous piece of paper; a gay, drunken Soviet spy and noble south American and Polish struggles for independence.
We also take in the history of the grand stuccoed streets, squares and mews of one of the most exclusive areas in the country.
