Warrior Women of Westminster

This is an inspirational tour where you will meet women who have fought to change history – fighting for the vote, for equal pay…for their religion, for their country.  Not all heroes, not necessarily villains, many flawed. But all these women fought for what they thought was right and were women of their time.  Come and hear the incredible stories that span 2000 years of London’s history from Boudicea who fought the Romans, to Doreen Lawrence who fought for justice for her son Stephen.

This walk will take you through the heart of political power in London, making our way from Westminster Bridge and Parliament Square and up Whitehall, finishing at Trafalgar Square.

Along the way you will meet queens, suffragettes, powerful politicians, spies, campaigners for social justice and war heroines.

It is a 2km walk, and fully accessible with ramps available at all road crossings and stops.

This tour is currently available for private groups.  There is something for everyone – these stories are exciting tales of power, struggle, even ruthlessness that will appeal to men and women alike.    But these were real women and you will hear about their personal lives as well as their daring deeds.

It might be of particular interest to groups who want an inspirational tour – perhaps for women colleagues or members of your organisation.   It would work well as part of a wider event, providing an interesting highlight for women delegates to a London conference for example.
