Join us on a free walk taking place on 12 April, in partnership with Tommy’s, the baby charity, and their fantastic fund-raising event, The London Landmarks Half Marathon. For more information on the LLHM, click here. The walk is free. All children – big and small – are welcome!

Our walk starts by Central Methodist Hall, winding around the Supreme Court and finishing by Westminster Abbey’s west front. Along the way, we will encounter mythical and real animals in stone, from horses and lions to yales and dragons, some of which belong in the collection of the King’s Fabulous Beasties.

The walk is a gentle, circular meander through a small area packed with interest.  It is focused on children but happy to involve adults.  It is wheelchair friendly too and guide dogs are welcome. As the animals are to be found on buildings, we will be spending much of our time looking at wall decoration from the bottom up. Everywhere we look, there will be something to see – often something surprising. The walk is led in English.

Although the walk is free, please book a place through the booking link
