The walk is presented in the form of a detective story as we gradually build up the suspense.On the way we will discover the political, economic and social background which led to this failed coup. We paint a picture of the area as it would have looked in Regency times, does anything remain from those days?We hear about the characters involved including a man of colour from an enslaved background – what attracted them to this conspiracy and what happened to them after it was thwarted. A fascinating tale of espionage, murder and retribution!
