This tour introduces some historical figures in the leafier quarters of Westminster who had filled silent spaces with their presence!
Please meet in Green Park at the exit to the Park from Green Park Tube Station (W1J 9DZ). Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start. The walk will end at 2 Carlton Gardens (SW1Y 5AA).
This walk guides people through some of the tranquil, green quarters of Westminster that also celebrates some of the famous historical residents who lived in these parts. Starting from Green Park and ending in Carlton Gardens, people can expect to hear more information about the streets and spaces they will cross as well as the special range of neighbours that resided in them, from Henry Pelham to Lord Kitchener. Not only does this walk guide them through some fascinating lives, but it also illuminates the rich and envious features of these locations and why they hold a powerful reputation in Westminster, as well as attracting some of the most affluent people to live there.
