I’m Marcus, and my passion is bringing the history, the people and the hidden stories of London to life. I have more than three years of guiding experience and am also a qualified City of London guide. I have also lived and worked in the heart of the capital for 20 years. I design engaging walks for independent travellers, families and corporate groups alike.
My tours combine historical insight with real-world experience. I studied Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge, so I can explain the British parliamentary system and constitutional history in a clear and accessible way. Before guiding full-time, I spent most of my career in financial services and consulting in the City of London. This gives me an insider’s view of the Square Mile, the City’s historic financial district.
