Licia is a qualified City of Westminster Tour Guide, a City of London Guide and holds an ITG (Institute of Tourist Guide) Green Badge which entitles her to guide both in Italian and English.
Born in Rome, she has become a true Londoner while living and working in London for 30 years. Beside guiding she teaches Italian Part-time at the City Lit where she has developed a new venture called ‘Italiano Camminando’ (Walking Italian) offering an opportunity to learners to improve their knowledge of Italian while being guided around London.
She offers all of her tours in English as well as Italian to the general public.
Licia has taught ‘Guiding Skills Workshops’ to secondary school students from foreign countries who come to England on work experience and to improve their English.
She also guides as a volunteer for ‘Open Garden Square Weekend’ and ‘Walking for Health’ and she’s an active ‘Foot Prints of London’ member.
Beside her passion for history and architecture, she enjoys to share her love for nature with its old and new biodiversity while helping to discover the many hidden gems which make London such a special place, from East to West, North and South.
