I’m a Westminster City Guide and Camden Tour Guide with a lifelong love of London.
I’ve worked, explored and enjoyed London for as long as I can remember. For years, I thought I knew it inside out, mostly by the quickest route between its best pubs. Then I started training as a guide and discovered just how much of its remarkable history is hidden in plain sight.
That’s what I love sharing on my walks. Sometimes it’s an overlooked plaque or a forgotten alleyway. Sometimes it’s the unexpected story behind a familiar landmark. They’re the details that most people walk straight past, but once you’ve spotted them, you’ll never look at that place in quite the same way again.
My favourite moment on a tour is seeing someone look at a familiar place and realise they’re seeing it in a completely new way.
Whether you’re visiting London for the first time or have lived here for years, I hope you’ll come away seeing our capital with fresh eyes and discovering something you never knew was there.
London has been surprising and delighting me for years, and I hope it does the same for you.
