Ameet Shah came to London when he was 9 and has made it his home. I studied Economics in Cambridge, had a long commercial career and have come to guiding as a passion. I love London, the city, its great buildings, its people, its history and how it has embraced successive generations to become a truly international and vibrant city. Come to me if you are interested in a personal tour around not only the iconic places in Westminster but also in some of the great characters, the events and the red thread that connects the past to the present. Currently I do 4 tours but can tailor these for you:

1. The Empire Tour – passing some of the most iconic sights in Westminster. As a child of Empire, if you happen to be interested in the history of Empire, do contact me.
2. The History of Britain in 12 and a Half Portraits (indoors)
3. A Glimpse of Life in the 1700s and 1800s – in Marylebone
4. The Great Sights of Westminster (Trafalgar Sq, Whitehall, Houses of Parliament, Horseguards, Buckingham Palace)
