Welcome to London! I’m a Londoner through and through and a former award winning BBC radio journalist. One of the key themes of my professional life is storytelling. I want to tell you tales about how London became such a great global city. There’s almost two thousand years of the city’s history to delve into. From monarchs, scientists, and entrepreneurs, to people working in the art, to rebels and campaigners wanting change – they’ve all left their mark.
I have a particular interest in Roman, Medieval, and Tudor London, having studied these topics for my degree in History and Archaeology at York University. I’m also fascinated by the city’s commercial and financial history, as I worked as a business journalist for many years.
Let me show you around my home town!
I offer public and private tours on: Roman London; Westminster’s Top Sights; Pomp and Pageantry – The Changing of the Guard; Shakespeare in London; King Richard lll – England’s notorious monarch; London Financial Tour; Tales from the Towpath – a ramble around Little Venice.
